Excursion to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine

On October 5, 2017, students of the FSP, specializing in Law, together with the dean of the faculty A. Melnychenko, went on an excursion to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. This event was dedicated to the Day of Lawyer of Ukraine.

Students got acquainted with the architecture of the building of the Ukrainian parliament, which was constructed during 1936-1939 (author of the project – architect V. Zabolotny), visited the honorable portal, which holds the Flag of Ukraine’s Independence.

Also, the students, together with the dean of the faculty, visited the hallways of the building of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, learned about the most important moments of state building that took place in the walls of the building of the legislative body. Students’ special interest was caused by the visit to the session hall of the Ukrainian parliament.

The management of the faculty expresses appreciation for the initiation and organization of the mentioned excursion to its partner – the Main Territorial Department of Justice of the City of Kyiv and directly to its head Stanislav Kutsenko.
