Since 2016, all purchases by budget organizations are carried out through ProZorro’s electronic public procurement system. In order to ensure efficient and transparent public procurement, to create a competitive environment in the field of public procurement, to prevent violations in the conduct of public procurement, to prevent corruption in this area, to develop fair competition and to ensure the appropriate level of knowledge and practical skills of the specialists responsible for organizing and conducting public procurements. public procurement, sufficient for the qualified implementation of procurement procedures in accordance with the requirements of the law, the Department of Theory and management practices of the Faculty of Sociology and Law of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, trains specialists within the framework of an educational and professional program of master’s studies with the specialty 281 “Public Administration” in the field of “Public Procurement Management” for the public procurement sector of Ukraine.

Master’s training program

The purpose of the Master’s program in the field of Public Procurement Management is to train management personnel who are capable of systematically and innovative thinking, to make effective decisions with modern management tools and information and communication technologies and to perform public procurement management functions at a high professional level.

Mastering this program is the basis for career growth or a means for career advancement in executive bodies, local self-government bodies, state (communal) enterprises, institutions, institutions and organizations.

Curriculum

The master’s degree curriculum for public administration and administration (professional profile, 90 credits ECTS) in the field of Public Procurement Management has a general training cycle (in specialty), which includes basic discipline and vocational training courses (in specialization), which includes training courses in professional and practical training and part of this cycle of student choice.
